We are still off for the summer. We will be kicking off our new year of Christian Ed for our Rally day on September 12th. Christian Ed time will be starting back on September 19th at 9:20AM. See you then!!

Christian Education News
We’re gearing up to kick off the new “fall season” in Christian Education. We’ll start the year out in celebration on September 12th for Rally Day, or “BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY” with a 9:00 worship service lead by the C.E. Worship team. We’ll then have a potluck meal for everyone, with games and fun for all ages. Wear your Hawaiian Apparel to Church & join the fun! For more details check out the “LORD’S LUAU” section.
We’re starting the year out with “FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT” series curriculum. We’re implementing lessons on Sharing, Kindness & Friendship, which will bring us to the Christmas season. Due to the budget situation & “Going Green” we’re reusing curriculum with a new spin.
We’re thankful for an amazing C.E. team again this year. We have some changes in our teachers as well as opening & closing programs. Without a magnificent group of volunteers our C.E. Department would not flourish as it has. Thank you to each & every one of you!

SUB TEACHERS & VOLUNTEERS – We have various substitute teachers for C.E. If you are interested in volunteering or subbing for C.E. please contact Renee Zintz or Sherry Kieler. We’re always looking to continue to build our team.
C.E. IMPORTANT CHANGES – We have practiced “Safe Sanctuaries” policies & procedures in our C.E. department since 2002. However, we have updated our policies and are implementing some changes. We ask that parents please do not drop your students off for C.E. prior to 9:15 if you are unable to supervise them. We do not want children unoccupied or unsupervised, and often many of the C.E. team members are still attending church service at 9:00. We do make every attempt to arrive in C.E. as soon as possible, but want to be safe. Thanks for your cooperation with this.
Also, upon pick up, please pick your students up from their breakout rooms. Again for safety, without prior permission, we will not allow students to leave C.E. without an adult or older sibling. If you have questions or concerns regarding these policies, please contact Renee Zintz.
Christian Education Team – We have a team made up of several individuals from the church that meet monthly to plan out all aspects of our Christian Education Department. We plan out all curriculum for Sunday School, VBS and other special events (Family Day, Rally Day, Easter Programs, Halloween Hoopla, Christmas Programs, etc..) We do alot of fun activities through out the year and it is wonderful to be involved with other individuals that have the passion to see the children grow physically and spiritually.
