We had an AWESOME adventure this year.  This was our biggest year yet.  We had 123 kids participate.  Thank you to everyone that helped make this all possible.  It took a huge amount of volenteers to help organize, decorate, teach, station leaders or volenteer, prepare & serve meals, registration, greeters, you name it.  You are ALL PRICELESS!!  We sinserely thank each and everyone of you that gave of yourself, your time or donated materials.  Without you event would not be possible. 

We had a great group of kids that truely had a joyous time learning about God’s creations from a completely Out of this World perspective.  We also learned about the importance of going GREEN.  God had created this world for US and we need to do our part to take care of it for him and everyone else.

Other Churches in SW Wisconsin completing Galactic Blast

 

We have a wonderful opportunity to help some other area churches with their VBS program this year.  We are truely getting to teach our kids by our example.  You see, one of the lessons that we taught our children during Galactic Blast was to “Go Green”.  God has given us this wonderful world and is entrusting us to take care of it just as he takes care of us.   We discussed how important it is to reduce, reuse & recycle.  We have the opportunity to share all of our decorations with a few area churches.  They can reuse everything that we no longer have use for and can further touch childrens lives.  Working with the children of our local area and spreading God’s Love and word is truely a blessing.  By working with these other churches we can help them do the same for kids in their area.

Dodgeville UMC Aug. 2 – 6th, 4:00 Supper, 4:30 – 7:00 PM

Eastman UMC Aug. 2 – 6th,  5:30 Supper, 6:00 – 8:15 PM

Mt. Horeb UMC Aug. 16 – 20th
