Multimedia

Use of multimedia is a fast growing aspect of worship in today’s churches across the globe.  In today’s age, technology plays a very significant role in the lives of the majority of people.  Today’s younger generation has grown up around multimedia and computers.  By incorporating these different media tools into worship and the church, it will be much easier to connect with those individuals.  Here at FUMC we are working on adding as much of this as possible to our church worship and outreach programs.

Church Videos

We have a media crew that video tapes our worship service each week and makes VCR tapes that are taken to members that are unable to attend church do to health issues.  We have several people that have these tapes delivered to them each week.

Projection

We have been using projection for our Celebration Services for quite some time now.  We project images, videos and words for songs & prayers through out the entire service.  This has been a wonderful addition to our once a month contemporary worship service.  The use of this enhances the service and allows us to view videos as part of our sermons and such.

Website

We have built this website for 3 different purposes.  Those purposes are as follows.

1. For our members to use as an additional communication tool.  We can use it to see up coming events and announcements or to get additional information about activities at FUMC or the community.  We can also use it as a tool to help us grow spiritually.
2. Secondly, the site can help visitors find us.  If you are new to the area or just passing through and looking for a place to worship, our site will give a good idea of what kind of Christian family we are and what we have to offer.  First and foremost we offer God’s Love to each and everyone that enters FUMC.
3. The last is probably the smallest portion of viewers, but by far the most important.  Those that have not accepted God as their savior.  These may be non-believers that are possibly looking for an answer to what Christianity really is and who God is.  We want them to feel comfortable with our environment.  FUMC is a Christian family that is made up of people from all walks of life.  We simply love our Lord and want to worship him and to spread his Love and word to everyone that we meet.

We do the best that we can to use this site to reach all people and to help them grow as a Christian.

Video Recordings of Performances

We have also been recording a lot of the different performances of the different choirs and special activities.  The videos of been added to this website so that people can view them.  This allows friends and relatives to see the performance even if they are across the country.  We have had a lot of compliments for doing this.

Sermon Audio

We also record audio files of the sermon and add them to Sermon Browser on the Pastor Tab.  This allows anyone to listen to the sermon and even list to it over again to focus on the message.

Music Videos

A large portion of our media is Christian music videos.  We view a lot of videos that are accessible on the Internet.  This is a huge portion of our media.  We use those videos during worship, special events, Christian Education and youth group.  Check out some of the awesome videos that we love to use.    We thank all of the creaters for the use of the videos.  All credit for the audio and video goes to the original creators.
