This Months - MISSION EMPHASIS

The Fennimore United Methodist Mission/Social concerns Leadership has designated the special mission offering in January, February and March, to go to a ecumenical and community mission project called

 “Feed My Starving Children”

 The project will entail having community churches, civic groups and others from their community to raise $17,000 to buy food to supply 100,000 meals to starving children.  The food will be individually packed by 500 community volunteers who will fill a semi with individual packed meals.

 Much more information will be forthcoming in announcements and adds in the coming weeks and months.  Thank you for your generous gifts to this most amazing and most worthy cause.

 The cans found in the offering plates on Sunday mornings, during January, February, March, will be used to collect funds to be used for the “Feed My Starving Children” project.  If you want credit for tax purposes, please place your donations in an envelope marked “Feed My Starving Children,” and place it in the offering plates on Sundays, or turn them in or send them to the church office.  Checks should be made out to Fennimore United Methodist Church with “Feed My Starving Children” written on the designation line of that check.
