LIFEST

We had 18 people attend LIFEST this year.  It was an interesting year at Lifest. Do to rain, our campsite flooded & we needed to completely move it, interesting & time consuming, but it all worked out.  The speakers & bands were great, as always! We each returned a little different person because of what we experience while there.  Some people have purchased their tickets for next year already because of the HUGE savings they offered this year.  ($48 for full event tickets, they’re now still ONLY $ 54.)  If you’re interested in learning more about LIFEST, please feel free to ask Kevin Klais, Sherry Kieler, Renee Zintz, Trina Flannery or some of the youth members.  LIFEST is a family event, singles event, youth event, couples event, anything you WANT or NEED it to be, but one you will definitely learn at & grow spiritually.

Special thanks to Jim Stoeffler for once again being the main “boy scout” leader with providing the cooking equipment & supplies as well as doing most of the work tied to it. Thanks for the cheerful service!!!! Also, extra thanks to Jake Stoeffler & John Yanna for braving the storm Saturday & assisting with taking down camp, and Alex Ames for watching over the younger ones while the storm passed. THANKS to all of you!!

FAMILY DAY – Blast off to Summer!

On Sunday May 23rd we celebrated Family Day as our kickoff to summer.  This was the beginning of our summer worship schedule with one church service at 9:00 am.  We had a special appearance by George Jetson and Rosey the Robot during our service.  The service was followed by an all church potluck. We had tons of delicious food.

After the brunch we had many activities for all ages. Everyone had a lot of fun and we had beautiful weather for the event.  The decorations were awesome!! (Thank you to the Wehrle Family)  Also, thank you to everyone that helped with the event.  It takes a lot of work to put on an event like this.  From planning and organizing, decorating, cooking, manning the booths, etc..  Thank You ALL for everything you did to help make this event a success.

I will add a few pictures shortly.
