Sr High Convo Design Team
Yes, the first time ever we have youth from Fennimore & Boscobel on the CONVO Design Team. The Design Team organizes, develops and plans Sr. High CONVO. Its very exciting to have our own youth involved in a Conference level activity. They will travel to the Dells 6 times for planning and do much over the phone/emails. Members involved are Marissa Klais, Steven Adney, Cody Trumm. Tyler Hunt & Amanda Millin were also on the team however could not do it this year. Please keep these youth in your prayers for God to use them to do his will in planning CONVO.
Sunrise Service & Breakfast
We’ve begun planning for our annual Sunrise Service & Breakfast. We will host the service & breakfast Easter morning. Be sure to attend this meaningful event. Please plan on joining us for the Impact meeting in March. We will making plans for the Sunrise service at these meetings.
IMPACT GATHERINGS
The scheduled monthly gatherings are the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 6:30-8:00 pm at the church, unless we are going on an outing. IMPACT, Letting Teens Know We Care, is for all students ages 7th-12th grade, not just Methodist students. Please encourage and assist youth to attend. Let’s make an impact on all our students. In an effort to give students a place to “hang-out” , we are in the process of trying to open the basement up after some home basketball games. We wanted to accomplish this for football games but the timing and “man-power” didn’t work out. We’ll be in touch with the students once this is feasible.
Fennimore FCA Kickoff Meeting
On Jan. 31st a group of local youths hosted a kickoff meeting to start a FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) chapter for the Fennimore Area. The FCA is Youth led ministry that meets on the school campus. This event was planned by youth with the guidance of a couple adult leaders. The guest speaker was Chris Maragos of the Wisconsin Badgers. Chris talked about his spiritual life and the importance of his Faith. Chris is a member of the FCA at the UW Madison campus and helps promote the group. The event was attended by about 55 students and numerous adults. Pizza’s, Cookies and refreshments were served. Games and fellowship time followed the Presentation portion of the meeting.

Fundraisers
Candles – Starting Feb. 14th the youth will be selling Gold Canyon Candles. If you’d like purchase a great candle, please see one of the youth or stop by their table in the narthex. Due to funding cutbacks we are needing to do additional fundraising and please know we appreciate your support.
Bob Lenz & AJ the Animated Illusionist
On April 28th, Bob & AJ will be in Fennimore for a school rally during the day. The rally will be for 7th – 12th grade students and will be focused on issues that affect youth everyday. They will also be having an evening rally that will be open to the public. The evening rally will be faith based. There is no entry charge for the rally. Bob & AJ are from the Appleton area and travel together quite often. This will be an awesome and meaningful event.
Here is a little bit about them for those of you that do not know them.
Bob Lenz is the founder of Life Promotions and is a Nationally known speaker that focuses on Youth. He travels all over doing youth outreach events such 
as this and has spoke to hundreds of thousands of youth over the years. He is a tremendous and emotional speaker that can touch any heart and soul that he talks to. He can have you laughing one moment and a few seconds later crying. He speaks from his heart and has taken on God’s calling for him to reach every youth he possibly can. But you don’t have to be a youth to connect with him. Just take a moment and listen to him. Click on the picture of him to see an introduction video of him.
AJ is an Entertain
er that travels nationwide and performs for large corporations. He entertains as a magician, illusionist, actor, dancer and speaker. He is very good at what he does and truly loves entertaining. He also has a strong faith and has partnered with Bob to travel with him and perform for the youth. He will definitely have you amazed. Fennimore sponsored an event with BOB & AJ about 4 years ago, and they packed the place. It was standing room only. We had a large amount of youth that accepted Christ that evening and we pray that the same will happen again. Our youth and several area churches and families are trying to sponsor this event and are still trying to raise the funds needed to cover the cost of the event. This would be a huge investment into the Lives of our Local Youth.
Jr High Convo
Is Friday, April 30th – Sunday, May 2nd in Wis. Dells @ Ch
ula Vista Resort. We’ll have bands and our speaker will be Bob Lenz. Click on Bob’s picture to see a short video of him speaking about prayer. The band playing at Convo this year will be Satalites & Sirens. This group focuses its music on showing life in a fast pace life full of noise, that sometimes blocks us from hearing God. MISSION TRIPS
We have various opportunities for Mission trips taking place this summer. So far, we don’t have any specific plans because of many scheduling conflicts, however, deadlines are coming close. If you know of anyone interested in attending a mission trip, please let Renee or Kevin know. We will also be doing local work and information regarding that project will be coming out soon.
